Bailey Glasser, LLP
Partner, Bailey Glasser, LLP
Arthur H. Bryant of Bailey Glasser, LLP, is the former Chairman of Public Justice, a national public interest law firm that specializes in cutting-edge, impact litigation. He has won precedent-setting victories in civil rights, workers' rights, consumers' rights, constitutional law, toxic tort, class action, mass tort, and access to justice litigation. The National Law Journal has twice named him one of the 100 Most Influential Attorneys in America and Named him a Sports Law Trailblazer for his success litigating Title IX cases in November 2021.
At the start of his career, Arthur tried and won the landmark case that got females admitted to Philadelphia's public, previously all-male, national-acclaimed Central High School. He was then lead trial counsel in the first Title IX case tried against a university for discriminating against its women athletes and potential athletes. Arthur has successfully represented more female (and male) athletes in Title IX litigation against colleges and universities than any lawyer in the country. In the last two years alone, he and his co-counsel have won settlements enforcing Title IX and advancing gender equity for student-athletes and potential athletes at Brown University, Clemson University, the College of William & Mary, the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, East Carolina University, Dartmouth College, Dickinson College, and others.
