Mary O’Connor serves as the President and CEO of the Dallas Wings. In her current role, she leads all business operations for the Dallas based WNBA team, one of twelve teams currently playing in the league.
Prior to joining the Wings, O’Connor held several senior positions at The Marketing Arm (TMA), a Dallas, Texas based sports marketing agency, including SVP of Sports and SVP of Olympic Marketing, Global Platforms and Hospitality. During her ten-year tenure at TMA, she was instrumental in driving brand value by developing and executing integrated marketing and promotional initiatives for a variety of clients including AT&T and Hilton.
Prior to joining TMA, O’Connor served as a Director at Carat Sponsorships Solutions where she consulted with clients including The Home Depot, New York Times and Schick on event marketing platforms. Additionally, she spent 5 years with General Motors Corporation serving in various sponsorship, communications, marketing and customer relations positions.
O’Connor earned an MBA in sports and entertainment marketing from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame.
