At only 11 years of age, Brighton Zeuner is making her way through the skateboarding ranks after just turning pro earlier this year and will be making history this summer as the youngest, female athlete ever to be invited to the action sports event, summer or winter, in 22 years. Brighton started skating competitively three years ago and competes in the skateboard disciplines of bowl, street, vert and park. Brighton lives in Encinitas with her parents, Brandon and Bridget, and her older brother Jack. Brighton and Jack have a very unique relationship and have both helped each other in their interest in skateboarding. Brighton was originally inspired to skate after watching her brother. Jack was inspired to get into filmmaking after filming his sister skateboard. Brighton has a 10 1/2 ‘ vert ramp in her backyard to help her progress her skills in skateboarding, but it draws professional skateboarders from all over Southern California as well. Both Brighton and Jack are featured in season seven of the “Camp Woodward” series that airs on You Tube. Brighton will make her way to her first ever X Games in June and will be the youngest female athlete in the history of the event to be invited to X Games in both summer and winter.
