Sara leads sports sponsorship initiatives for Wells Fargo focusing on national Hispanic marketing platforms such as the Mexican National Team and Major League Soccer's Hispanic initiatives. In addition, she manages the company's Florida Gators and Carolina Tar Heels relationships and serves as a subject matter expert to lines of business in the Southeast region as well as Diverse Segment marketing teams. Her sports business background also includes: Director of Business Development for the Boston Blazers (a startup lacrosse team), Hispanic Partnerships Account Executive for Major League Soccer, and Labor Relations Coordinator for Major League Baseball.
Before joining Wells Fargo, Sara worked at Allied Minds plc directing the company’s marketing efforts and scouting investment opportunities. She also served as an Associate Director of Alumni Relations for the University of Chicago overseeing the East Coast. Sara started her career at the law firm of Covington & Burling in Washington, DC first as a legal assistant and later in PR & marketing. Raised on the South Side of Chicago, she earned her BA in Public Policy from the University of Chicago (and held a work-study job in the athletics department) and an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business.
A former softball player (both 12" and 16"), Sara believes the Cubs will win the World Series this year. She currently resides in Gainesville, FL.
