Karina Bohn joined Arizona State University in January 2016 to oversee the launch of a university-wide research institute that will examine the role of sports in society. The goal of the institute is to make sport, and those who touch sport, better, and to make the world better as a result. Prior to joining Arizona State, Bohn was part of the front office of the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball team from 2004 – 2016, where she most recently held the role of Vice President, Marketing.
Bohn earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Illinois, followed by a Master of Business Administration (W.P. Carey School of Business) and a Master of Mass Communication (Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication), both at Arizona State University.
She currently lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with her husband Brad and children Cade and Carson.
