Ashleigh Johnson
Goalkeeper, U.S. Olympic Women's Water Polo
A breakout star at the 2015 FINA World Championships, the starting goalkeeper anchored Team USA's journey to gold where she was named top goalie and title match MVP. The Miami, Florida native brings diversity to the sport of water polo as the first female African-American Olympian in USA Water Polo history. Named top goalkeeper in Rio, Johnson has added a FINA World Cup and Pan American Games title since joining the squad full-time in 2014. Currently competing for Princeton University, she has helped the Tigers reach the NCAA Tournament twice in three years of competition.
