Maria Dincel is the Managing Director of Global Sponsorships and Olympic Games at Cisco. Maria joined Cisco in 2005. Since 2007 Maria has overseen Cisco’s growing sponsorships portfolio, which currently includes the NBA, USA Basketball, Rio 2016 Olympic & Paralympic Games, Team Brazil, Tokyo 2020 Olympic & Paralympic Games, AT&T ProAm and LiveNation. The Cisco marketing partnership portfolio has included strategic relationships with ESPN, Turner, NBC, MLB and the NHL under her direction.
Across the above partnerships Dincel has leveraged these global platforms to deliver innovative business to business marketing programs that showcase Cisco technology solutions and drive business objectives to grow the business, generating substantial brand awareness, and fostering employee engagement and pride.
Maria has been a successful technology marketing professional in Silicon Valley for over 29 years. Prior to joining Cisco Maria managed marketing programs for Airespace and NET in Silicon Valley inclusive of advertising, PR, AR, customer experience, digital, social, demand generation, event management, product management and product marketing.
Dincel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Ohio Wesleyan University. Maria is a sports enthusiast and participant, an adventure traveler, and loves being a Mom.
